About Me
Applied Computer Science student passionate about bridging hardware and software through innovative engineering solutions.
Who I Am
I'm Dung Phan, an Applied Computer Science student at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, currently enrolled in the Honours Programme focusing on AI technologies. My passion lies in creating end-to-end systems that seamlessly connect the physical and digital worlds.
My journey spans from low-level embedded programming with ESP32 microcontrollers to cloud-scale data engineering solutions. I thrive on the challenge of building complete IoT ecosystems - from sensor data collection through LoRaWAN networks to real-time dashboards and analytics platforms.
What I Do
I specialize in:
- Data & AI Engineering scalable ETL pipelines, real-time streaming (Kafka, Spark), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Data & AI Engineering ESP32 development, Linux device drivers, and RTOS simulations.
- Full-Stack Development cross-platform apps with Flutter and .NET MAUI, integrated with cloud services.
Whether it's developing Linux device drivers, implementing streaming ETL pipelines with Kafka and Spark, or building cross-platform mobile applications with Flutter, I enjoy tackling complex technical challenges that require both system-level thinking and practical implementation skills.
Career Aspirations
I’m seeking internship opportunities for Spring 2026 in:
- Data Engineering
- AI/ML Engineering
- IoT/Embedded Development
Ideally in the EU/Netherlands, where I can combine my embedded systems background with modern data engineering practices.
My goal is to contribute to innovative projects that leverage IoT data for intelligent decision-making — from smart cities to industrial automation and sustainable technologies.
